HYBRID HEATING

Networked Energy Hybrid Heating Systems provide a more cost-effective way of producing hot water and space heat than conventional oil and gas boilers.  They are a combination of heating devices, including heat recovery equipment, electric heaters, heat exchangers, storage tanks and high-efficiency natural gas heaters that are sized and configured to meet the hot water and heating requirements of individual installations.  Hybrid Heating Systems make maximum use of recycled waste heat and “off-peak” electricity to provide low-cost heat and hot water.  At the heart of each system is a patent-pending Hybrid Heating Control unit that continuously monitors electric, oil and gas prices and a users’ instantaneous and cumulative electric usage.  With this information, It turns on and off individual heating devices so that the most cost-effective combination of heating sources operates at all times.

Hybrid Heating Systems offer the following benefits:

  1. Lower hot water and heating costs by up to 50% or more
  2. Limit boiler operations to the peak winter heating season
  3. Reduce labor and consumables expenses associated with O&M.
  4. Provide energy price inflation hedge.
