Networked Energy Services Announces Jonathan Main as New COO

NES selects proven leader with extensive industry experience to help lead company as it begins new growth phase driving the smart energy transition

San Jose, CA, October 31, 2019: Networked Energy Services Corporation (NES), a global smart grid solution provider with the industry’s leading Energy Applications Platform (EAPTM), announced today the appointment of Jonathan (Jon) Main as the new Chief Operations Officer. This announcement follows a comprehensive search process to find a new COO to help lead the company’s new growth phase and its continued commitment to be a recognized leader in the evolving energy industry.

Jon Main has more than 25 years of operational experience within various industries including Energy and Automotive. He has a broad range of audit & control, finance, operations, sales and IT experience having worked with both private and public companies in several global roles. In his most recent roles, he was an Executive Director with TMD Friction, and prior to that he was the Global SOX Audit Manager for Elster Group SE, where he was responsible for reviewing and auditing all business processes throughout the global group. Jon holds Bachelor’s degrees in Commerce and MIS from the University of South Australia, and an MBA degree from the London School of Business and Finance.

In his new COO role, Jon will focus on ensuring that the company’s day-to-day activities and processes throughout the business are secure, robust and running efficiently. He will work with Senior Management to ensure that every member of the NES organization has a clearly defined role and understands how he or she contributes to the overall goals of the business.
