   Emil Gurevitch

   NES Security Expert

We recently provided NES customers with a technical note and some recommendations regarding the Meltdown and Spectre attacks on CPU hardware implementations in order to educate and help Utilities mitigate any potential impact from these vulnerabilities. While there is no expected risk to NES devices, there are general risks to a Utility’s information systems, and therefore Utilities need to understand and address all possible threats. One of my strong recommendations for utilities is to keep all of their systems up to date with the latest security updates. If you have not seen the technical note on this issue, please contact us.
