NES Corporation's focus as a company is on providing networking infrastructure and creating a marketplace, offering customers a choice of interoperable solutions from multiple suppliers. We have achieved this by establishing an NES Value-Added Reseller and Project Partner program that enables other companies to add value to the NES infrastructure and resell it as a complete solution, thus providing a utility with a choice of system vendors. We also work with a number of local and IT integrator partners on specific projects. Our Partners provide NES based products, services, and solutions to utilities. Through their innovations, we ensure a vibrant market for NES based solutions for the diverse smart grid needs of utilities.

Companies that are interested in joining the NES Partner Programs; should contact us at sales@networkedenergy.com, and let us help you profitably expand your business. We can provide sales, marketing, support, and technological tools to help you develop, sell, and deliver NES based products and services.

Alliances

The OSGP Alliance, founded in 2006 as the Energy Services Network Association (ESNA), is an independent global, not-for-profit association that promotes the adoption of the Open Smart Grid Protocol (OSGP) and related services and infrastructure for smart grid applications.

NES Corporation is one of the members of the OSGP Alliance and utilizes the Open Smart Grid Protocol (OSGP) for communications with its smart meters and other devices. NES’ smart meters are OSGP certified compliant by DNV KEMA and therefore are proven to be interoperable with OSGP compliant devices from other vendors.
The G3-PLC Alliance organization was formed in order to support, promote and implement G3-PLC in smart grid applications. Its members come from the key stakeholders in the smart grid ecosystem, including utility companies, equipment and semiconductor manufacturers, system integrators, IT vendors and automotive companies.

By joining the G3-PLC Alliance, NES is able to expand upon its leading PLC Smart Grid technology and incorporate the OFDM based G3-PLC technology into its portfolio of solutions for the utility industry. NES views cooperation with the other members in the G3 Alliance as an important step in further harmonization, standardization and development of the G3-PLC technology. This cooperation includes the development of the Open Smart Grid Protocol (OSGP) communication stack so that it is able to support the use of G3-PLC.
ESMIG represents European companies which provide products, information technology and services for multi-commodity metering, display and management of energy consumption and production at consumer premises. These products and services enable: better outage detection customized tariffs and accurate bills a precise overview of consumption and manageable demand. Therefore, they help in making energy cleaner, more affordable and more reliable.

NES joined ESMIG because of its important role within the smart metering industry and its positive impact on the European community.  This includes helping to advocate for a regulatory framework that accelerates the introduction of innovative products and services, which are fundamental to the smart energy and water systems of Europe’s future. In addition, we seek to help ESMIG actively contribute to the creation of a competitive energy market by the development of architectures and open standards that allow efficient implementation and integration of new energy management technologies and services.
The DLMS User Association’s mission is to create generic and compatible communication objects that enable the integration of diverse systems and thus simplify operational and commercial processes. This will raise the efficiency in different business sectors remarkably, independently of the brand of meters. They endeavor to apply standards for compatible communication protocols to help secure investment in new generations of meters and new applications.

NES joined and supports the DLMS User Association because one of our main goals is to offer utilities interoperable products. NES promotes interoperability with multiple protocols including OSGP, M-Bus, DLMS and other protocols as well. Utilities have a variety of meters installed based on a variety of protocols, including many that are DLMS based. So it is important to offer solutions that allow interoperability of all meters and systems.
